Charlotte R. Lucas, 71, of Edinburgh formerly of Columbus passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at her home surrounded by family.
Charlotte was born in Columbus April 18, 1949, the daughter of Charles and Norma Rohr Gobin. She married Michael L. Lucas; he preceded her in death April 29, 1916.
She was Director of Nursing for 42 years at Brown County Health and Living. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her sister, Jennifer M. Denk of Edinburgh; nephew, Michael (Sarah) Denk of Whiteland; niece, Laura (Thaddaeus) Sauls of Whiteland; great nephews, Riley, Ryan and Eli; great niece, Alyssa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Sharon Gobin.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Hope Moravian Cemetery with Pastor Mark R. Teike officiating. In keeping with CDC and Indiana guidelines, social distancing must be followed and masks are required.
