Mrs. Lorainne Ballard Taylor - Underwood
Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Little Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Opelousas, LA, for Mrs. Lorainne Ballard Taylor - Underwood, 80, who entered eternal rest, Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Senior Village Nursing Home.
Rev. Calvin Moore will officiate at the service.
Mrs. Underwood is survived by three sons, Christopher C. Taylor (Sonja) of Blythewood, SC, Kirk A. Underwood (Rachel) of Arnaudville, LA and Antonio M. Underwood (Kenya) of Chicago, IL; a daughter, Jennifer Taylor Macon of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Cabbot D. Ballard of Opelousas, LA and Lawrence Ballard, Jr. of Houston, TX; two sisters, Sydalese B. Jackson of Opelousas, LA and Loyce B. Greene of Baton Rouge, LA; six grandchildren, Christopher J. Taylor (Jenna), Davidson Macon, Autumn Macon, Antonio Mariano Underwood, Alila U. Underwood, and Annabella M. Underwood; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Underwood was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence & Vertna Thompson Ballard; her first husband, Charles J. Taylor; her second husband, Albert M. Underwood; two brothers, Orville Ballard and Elliot O. Ballard, Sr. and a sister, Jannis B. Dennison.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home.
