McCarthy. In this city, Sunday, Oct. 3d, 1889, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. B. McDermott, Mrs. Bridget McCarthy, aged 76 years. Mrs. McCarty was the widow of the William McCarthy, who resided near Council Hill some 30 years since. Five of her children survive her four daughters and one son, Mr. P. McCarthy of Shullsburg. The remains were burried at Vinegar Hill, Jo Davise County, on Wednesday last.
