Donald Mason "Slab" Cantrell, 88, of Inman, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, on August 15, 1932, a son of the late Boyd Lee Cantrell, Sr. and Virginia Louise Wolfe Cantrell; widower of Nancy "Nan" Horton Cantrell.

A retired employee with Sunbeam Bread Company; a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church and the Sanctuary Sunday School class; served in the National Guard for thirty-one years; and was on the Chapman High School chain crew for forty-seven years.

Survived by a daughter, Beth Wall (Rev. Wayne); son, Bo Cantrell (Bonnie); brother, Rev. Frank Cantrell (Faye); three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Also predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Cantrell Neves (1958–2018); a grandson, Travis Dane Neves; and four brothers, Boyd Lee "Bill" Cantrell (1927–1982), Victor Young Cantrell (1928–1981), Hollis Weldon Cantrell
(1930–1992), and James Wesley Cantrell (1944–1966).

Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 20, 2020, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by Rev. Jack Hames.
