Mrs. Ida Abrams, of 1569 Georgia Highway 80, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, at Burke County Hospital.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Rock Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. R.L. Stephens officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Abrams, a native of Burke County, was a homemaker and a member of Beechwood Baptist Church where she was a member of the J.L. Hill Gospel Choir and the missionary board.
Survivors include two daughters, Regina E. Coleman, Waynesboro, and Delores Whighams, Augusta; one stepdaughter, Beatrice Clark-Davis, Decatur; eight sisters, Millie Coleman, Savannah Haynes and Georgia Haynes, all of Waynesboro, Annie Sanders, Evelyn Haynes, and Mamie Dumas, all of Martinez, Inez Gordon, Washington, D.C., and Mary Lacy, St. Petersburg, Fla.; two brothers, Samuel Haynes, Augusta, and Johnny Haynes, St. Petersburg; and five grandchildren.
