Mr. Lindsey Abrams, 37, of 897 Kingston Drive, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 1999, at University Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Rock Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Williams Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Abrams, a native of Burke County, was a carpenter. He attended Burke County schools and was a graduate of Breckenridge Job Corp, Breckenridge, Ky. He was a former member of the Army National Guard, Waynesboro and was a member of the Antioch Rock Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Savannah Haynes, Waynesboro; eight brothers, Charles E. Lacy, Martinez, Willie J. Lacy and Mathis Abrams Jr., both of Augusta, Johnny Farmer and Larry Farmer, both of Waynesboro, Roger Evans, Athens, John Dukes, Bridgeton, N.J., and Fred Young, Newark, N.J.; and nine sisters, Jackie H. Walker, Ocie Walker, Cassandra Williams and Theresa Williams, all of Waynesboro, Barbara Safford, Augusta, Deloris Williams and Josey Jenkins, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Essie Mae Young, Newark, and Alice Jones, Philadelphia.
