Thomas W. Stout Jr., age 91 of Sullivan, MO passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at Victorian Place in Sullivan.

Thomas Wilbur, known as Tom, was born in St. Louis, MO, on May 1, 1929, to Thomas W. Stout and Mildred Gertrude Grindstaff. He grew up in Maplewood and attended school there. Tom was united in marriage to Olive Ann Thrasher on December 12, 1953. They had celebrated 53 years of marriage together when Ann passed on January 15, 2007.

Tom served his country in the United States Navy and later, was employed by the Missouri Highway Patrol, as well as the United States Postal Service in Sullivan. Tom enjoyed a good drink and spending time with his grandkids. He would often take them to Scott Air Force Base to see the air show.

Tom is survived by his seven grandchildren: Samantha Stout and husband, David, Bitterbaum of Ballwin, MO, Sharon Stout of Wildwood, MO, Shelby Stout of Berger, MO, Cole Stout of Sullivan, MO, Garrett Graeser and wife, Shelby, of Quantico, VA, Derick Graeser of Memphis, TN and Shane Graeser of Smithton, MO; one great-grandchild, Clarkson Bitterbaum; and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Stout; two sons, Matt and Marc Stout; one daughter, Cheryl Graeser and her husband, Gary; and his parents, Thomas and Mildred Stout.

Cremation arrangements have taken place. There will be no services at this time. Mr. Stout will be laid to rest beside his wife, Ann, in Champion City Cemetery in Sullivan.

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Sullivan.
