Aged Warren Man Dead: Abel Bonifield passed away Thursday morning at an early hour at his home in Warren, after weeks of suffering. Mr. Bonifield was a sufferer from asthma and was not permitted during his long illness, to lie down. Several months ago he was attacked by a light stroke of paralysis and these things combined with the infirmities of old age brought on his death. He was born in Ohio about eighty-two years ago to which place is body will be taken for services and burial Saturday morning. Rev. G.B. Work will accompany the funeral party to Celina and have charge of the services.

Charlie & Addie Bonifield lived in St. Marys, Ohio. They had nine sons and two daughters. They were not rich by any means but they had a nice family and thanks to Addie, theirs was a wholesome life. A remarkable family.

Charles Bonifield 1875-1941. He moved to an area approximately five miles due east of his father Abel after marrying Addie Hile. He was also a farmer by trade. Charles and his spouse had eleven children: Glen, Clarence, Ralph, Homer, Carl, Ernest, Frank, Wayne, Ruby, Ruth, and Edna. Of this group four are still living in Ohio; Carl in Spencerville, Frank in Ft. Recovery, Wayne south of Coldwater and Ruby Bonifield Engel in St. Marys.
