ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - B. L. "Barney" Bauer, 88, of Albuquerque died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007.
He was born in Parsons.
Survivors include three children, LeAnna Jones, Merri Gandy and E. John Bauer; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Clara Ashmore and Kathleen Hills.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Journot Bauer.
He served in the military during World War II.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Albuquerque. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at French Mortuary Lomas Boulevard Chapel, where the family will receive friends for an hour before the rosary. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
