Ocala - Jane R. Griffiths, age 97, passed away September 28, 2007 at Hampton Manor in Ocala, Florida.
She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia and moved to Ocala in 1979 from Marco Island, Florida.
She was an Episcopalian, an award winning floral arranger, liked bowling, was a member of the Golden Hills Ladies Golf Association and was a basketball player in high school.
Jane is survived by a sister, Mary Dorothy Mooney, and her husband, Harry, of Ocala; nieces, Sharon Mooney Hughes, of Wilmington, North Carolina and Barbara Jean Fritz of Wellsburg, West Virginia; nephews, Dr. William P. Mooney of Castle Rock, CO, and George Robinson of Detroit, Michigan; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; two great, great-nieces; and one great, great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Griffiths, and two brothers, John and George Robinson.
There will be a service at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 5050 S.W. 20th Street, Ocala, Florida on Tuesday, October 2, 2007.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County, Florida.
