Dolly Priddy Dodson Kinnaird, 89, of Southside, formerly of Nitro, WV, passed from this life Sunday, November 5, 2017, at home.

She was born July 28, 1928, in Nitro, a daughter of the late Curtis C. Priddy and Dolly B. (Goodwin) Priddy.

Dolly graduated from Nitro High School Class of 1946 and attended Charleston Commercial College for a time. She worked at American Viscoe, Governor Arch A. Moore and was owner of Dodson's General Store of Southside where she was famous for her road kill sandwiches.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Raymond "Red" Dodson and Thomas "Oxley" Kinnaird; and brothers, Jim Priddy, Bob Priddy and Bill Priddy.

She is survived by one son, Raymond "Max" Dodson (Treva) of St. Mary's, WV; daughters, Barbara "Bobbi" Miller (Troy) of Poca, WV, Martha "Marti" Baird (Rick) of Southside and Kathy Savilla of Southside, who resided with Dolly and was her caregiver for 7 years; and special daughter, Cindy Oldham of Cottageville, WV. She is also survived by three brothers, Joseph "Joe" Priddy of Southside, Keith Priddy of Nitro and Curtis "Jimmy" Priddy of Ocala, FL; six grandchildren, Bennie Savilla II, Sara Moats, Joseph "Jake" Lease, Raymond "Brad" Savilla, Brian Savilla and Michael Baird; seven great-grandchildren, Kamryn Savilla, Ahna Savilla, Noah Savilla, Aiden Baird, Owen Baird, Liam Baird and Samuel Savilla; special friend, Colleen Rainey; numerous nieces and nephews; and her furry friends, Mason and Sadie.
