Jack (John) Robert Harris, age 78, a Rock Island, TN resident and Lancaster, PA native was born May 2, 1942 and passed November 8, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford following an extended illness.

He was a retired production manager, a United States Navy veteran, a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and the son of the late Charles L. and Margaret A. Helt Harris. He was also preceded in death by brother, Bill Harris.

Mr. Harris was married November 26, 1961 to Sandra Lee Hixson Harris of Rock Island, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sister, Kathy (David) Schaeffer of Flinton, Pennsylvania; and sister-in-law, Loretta Harris of Pennsylvania. Numerous nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020 in High’s Chapel with Sommer Worley officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at High’s.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
