Harrold Favors was born September 18, 1950 in Gay, Meriwether County, Georgia to the late Mr. Azell Favors, Sr. and Mrs. Emma Lee Martin Favors. He was the 11th of 13 siblings and the 8th male. Five brothers: Johnny Lee Favors, Milton Favors, Hullett Favors, Elder Royce Favors, and Azell Favors, Jr., preceded him in death. Harrell, at an early age, accepted Christ as his Lord and personal Savior and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost under leadership of the late Emma Lee-Martin Favors, Pastor/Founder, Saint Paul Holiness Church.

He was educated in the Meriwether County School System:McCrary Elementary School and Roosevelt Warm Springs Vocational Rehab Training School, where he received a Janitorial Certificate. Harrell was affectionately known as “Curly” because of his natural curly hair. “He Lived. He Laughed/Smiled. He Loved.” On Wednesday, January 29, 2020, he fell asleep peacefully in Christ Jesus.

Harrell leaves to cherish his memory, seven loving and faithful siblings: Annell F. Williams, Emma Jean Williams, Luther B. (Dorothy) Favors, Mattie Atkins, Albert Lee Favors (Janet Proctor), Bennie Lee (Rejoice) Favors and Diran F. Johnson; sister-in-law, Lilac Favors; a host of nieces and nephews who loved and admired him dearly; other relatives, friends, church members, and dedicated staff members of The Riverdale Healthcare Center.
