Louisa Timm's full name was Louise Dorothea Maria Wedekind.

Her first husband with whom she had 11 children was; August Freidrich Hoppenstedt/Hoppensteadt/Hoppenstadt. The name has been spelled many different ways, depending on whom you are talking to. August died in 1872 from injuries he sustained when he fell off a wagon. They were married on June 8, 1852.

She married Heinrich Timm on June 30, 1874.

In 1920 Louisa lives with the Hoppensteadts. She is Henry's mother. She immigrated from Germany in 1850 with her parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Louisa Timm an old resident of Wooddale, nee Wedekind, age 85 years, was buried at St. Luke's Cemetery, Tuesday. She leaves eight children, Mrs. Adolf Rosen, Mrs. Fred Winkelman, Henry, George, and Fred Hoppenstaedt, Herman, Emil, and Otto Timm.
