Beatrice loved to live life to the fullest! She liked anything that was an adventure: traveling, dancing, going shopping or out to eat, and family and friend get-togethers. She also loved to be pampered! Beatrice enjoyed playing Chalupa, tending to her plants, and listening to and telling jokes.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Rafaela Barrera; brother, Lorenzo Cuellar; and sister, Josefina Martinez.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 62 years, Pablo D. Gonzales of Liverpool, Texas; children: Lupe Burris of Alvin, Texas, Maria DiGiovanni of San Antonio, Texas, Mary Ann Contreras of Richwood, Texas, Reynaldo Gonzales of Liverpool, Texas, Luis Gonzales of Alvin, Texas, Pablo Gonzales Jr. of Liverpool, Texas, and Ricardo Gonzales of Baytown, Texas; sister, Maria Treviño of Alvin, Texas; 22 grandchildren and 58 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Beatrice Gonzales will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with Deacon David Bowman to recite the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin with Father Joseph Phiet-The-Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow in procession to Oak Park Cemetery.
