Wana Lou Senter, 85, Newtonia, Missouri entered into rest November 3, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Wana was born February 19, 1935 in Stella, Missouri to Matthew Rufus and Bernice (Nunn) Senter.
She was a member of the Newtonia Baptist Church; secretary to the Granby Historical Society; and wrote a column for the newspaper in Granby. Wana was an avid reader; a writer; an English teacher; and a principal for Maynard Evans High School in Orlando, Florida.
She is survived by two nieces, Marla Senter Morris and husband, Christopher and Mindy Campbell and husband, Ron; one sister-in-law, Helen Senter; one uncle, Herbert Nunn; and eight great nieces. Wana was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Mark Senter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Clark Funeral Home, Granby Chapel.
