Lois Jean Kephart, 78, a resident of Harrisonburg passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Life Care Center in New Market.
Mrs. Kephart was born on September 5, 1936 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Leonard Pearson and Frances Elizabeth Smith Comer. She was a homemaker and spent her entire life in the area. She was a member of Singers Glen Baptist Church.
On March 21, 1954, she married Otho Kephart who preceded her in death on March 1, 2012.
Surviving are five children, Boyd Kephart and wife Lydia of Broadway; Kenny Kephart; David Kephart; Karen Taylor and husband Mark, all of Harrisonburg; Sharon Bare and companion Roy Stroop of Linville; a brother, Charles L. Comer of Bridgewater; a sister, Helen Foley of Harrisonburg; four grandchildren, Kristy Fink and husband Stephen, Lori Norquest, Jennifer Wimer and husband Aaron, Stephanie Baker and husband Jason; three great grandchildren, Madyson B. Fink, Abbigail S. Fink, and Shadely P. Baker and a special aunt, Pauline Smith.
