Mrs. Bene't McSwain-Cash, 68, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Novant Health-Presbyterian Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Mike Lawing. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the service.
Bene't was born on December 19, 1949 in Atlanta, GA to the late Harry A. Lewis III and Birdie "Connie" Lewis. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Steve Brawley.
Bene't was a dedicated Realtor® for Allen Tate Realtors for over 25 years where she developed relationships that lasted a lifetime. She was loved by so so many. She loved spending time at the beach with all her family, grandchildren, and countless friends. She loved to dance and was a National Champion Shagger and in the SOS Hall of Fame. Her beautiful soul, spirit, everlasting smile, and zest for life will be missed by all. She truly was one of a kind.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry W. Cash; son, Gregory "Lance" McSwain and wife, Nina; brothers, Harry A. "Rocky" Lewis IV, Mike Brawley and wife, Jean; grandchildren, Lucas Nielsen, Emma Nielsen, Noah McSwain, Ella Grace McSwain, Bradley Cash, Kylie Cash; stepchildren, Tony and Lynn.
