Alonzo Beasley, 83, of Middletown, formerly of Lucasville, died Monday, February 15, 1999 at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton,Ohio. He was born February 2, 1916 in Lucasville, a son of the late Joseph and Pearl M. Dawson Beasley. He was also preceded in death by one son: Alonzo Beasley, Junior; one brother: Joe Bill Beasley; two sisters: Helen Blue and Pauline Learned. He is survived by his wife Delphia Ann Beasley, whom he married August 13, 1938 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky. He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Myrna Rainey of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee, Sandra Craig of Middletown; Bonnie Jean Wilder of Hamilton; one son: Dale Lester Beasley of Buda, Texas, one brother: Robert Beasley of Sabn Antoinio, Texas; two sisters: Mary Mae Dixon of Portsmouth; Pearlie Mays of Chillicothe, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was a Valley High School graduate and a lathe operation for General Electric in Cincinnati. Funeral services held Thursday, February 18, 1999 at McKinley Funeral Home with Dave Vastine officiating. Burial was in Lucasville Cemetery.
