Cenia was the daughter of James "Jim" Albert Anderson and Frances Kernelia (McDaniel) Anderson.

Cenia and Melvin Noble Merritt were married August 28, 1933 in Greenwood, Sebastian County, Arkansas. They had one daughter and later divorced.

On November 1, 1942 in Vinita, Craig County, Oklahoma, Cenia and V.T. Wallace were married. No children.

Cenia Alzeria Wallace

Mrs. Cenia Alzeria Wallace, 83 year-old resident of 820 South 13th St. in Frederick, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 1983 in the Memorial Hospital.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the 13th and Josephine Church of Christ with Alvis Bryan, her nephew from Cedar Hill, Texas officiating.

Burial was in Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Funeral Home.

Born Oct. 18, 1899 at Blanket, Texas, she was the daughter of James A. and Frances (McDaniel) Anderson. She moved to Frederick in 1908 (should be 1901) from Texas, then to Vinita in 1942, and back to Frederick in 1968.

Mrs. Wallace was a member of the Church of Christ and the Texas Rebekah Lodge. She operated a beauty shop in Frederick for a number of years.

She married V.T. Wallace, Nov. 1, 1942 at Vinita, Okla. Her husband preceded her in death June 22, 1949.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra C. Hayes of Vinita; five grandsons, Ed Jones, Johnnie Hayes and Terry Hayes of Vinita, Larry Don Hayes of Claremore, Okla. and Glen Alan Hayes of Talihina; one granddaughter, Susan Bowie of Vinita; one sister, Annie Stravlo of Oklahoma City; two great granddaughters and four great-grandsons.

Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by both her parents, three brothers, Johnnie, Ralph and Earl Anderson, and one sister, Lillian Bryan.

Cenia was my mother and she gave me the picture of herself and I took the picture of their double headstone.
