Mrs. Kelly Richardson, age 60, of Meridian passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at her home.
Kelly Richardson was known as someone who would do anything for anybody. She always put others before herself and never met a stranger. She was known and loved by many, but her favorite people were her grandchildren who lovingly called her, KK. Kelly was a long time member of Highland Baptist Church in Meridian where she was active on different committees and volunteering in the children’s and youth ministries throughout the years. She was the perfect example of the Lord’s servant as she was involved in planning many wedding showers, coordinating food and helping with other events. For more than 18 years, she was the first person to greet you as you came through the door of Winstead Realty. She welcomed everyone with a friendly face and you never left without feeling like you had known her forever.
Survivors include her husband Ken Richardson; children, Heath Richardson (Jessica), Heather Woodall (Will); grandchildren, Nolon, Maddie Leigh, William, and Ella Brooke, Mother, Shirley A. Massey; mother-in-law, Faye Richardson, and a host of brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nolon Lavalle Massey; brothers, Nolon Keith Massey and Gregory Lavalle Massey; father-in-law, Elmer Kenneth Richardson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Highland Baptist Church in Meridian, MS
Pallbearers will be Bobby Dyess, Robert Compton, Barry Hucks, Harry Mayer, Tim Snowden, and Joe Wilkerson.
