My maternal grandmother.

Mrs Lena Bohm nee Kahl was a daughter of Frederick C Kahl and Henrietta Kahl. She was born June 22, 1897 in Scott County, Iowa. On March 8, 1916 she was united in marriage with William Bohm and the couple has been making Arian their home the last 2 years.

Seven children were born to Mr and Mrs Bohm, the youngest passing away 3 weeks ago. Those left to mourn the death of a beloved wife and mother are: the husband, William Bohm, and children: Frank, Betty Ann, Helen, Mary Lou, Rosie Mae, and Billy, all at home.

Besides the children there are also the following sisters: Mrs Gusta Clinton Denison and Freda (Mrs Herman Anders) of Omaha, Anna (Mrs Russell Larson) of Kiron, Alice McKeighan of California, Viola of South Dakota, and a brother, William Kahl of Coleman, South Dakota.
