AUGUST MULLER.
Another of the old pioneers of Kalbar crossed the Great Divide on Monday last, in the person of August Muller, at the ripe old age of 80 years (writes our Kalbar correspondent). Deceased was of a quiet disposition, and was a hard-working, industrious farmer, having lived on the one selection, which he took up over 40 years ago. He was in his usual health until a couple of months ago, and since then his condition has gradually grown worse, the cause of death being heart failure. The funeral took place on Tuesday, and was largely attended. The last remains were interred in the Baptist Cemetery, the burial service being conducted by Pastor Kruger, Mr. G. Eder having charge of the funeral arrangements. Deceased leaves a widow and grownup family of seven sons and one daughter (Harry, August, Charles, Henry, Otto, Joseph, David, and Mrs. C. Wolter) to mourn his loss. The deepest sympathy is extended to them in their sad bereavement.
