Passed away Wednesday at Bickford Memory Care.

Daughter of Harry and Ruby Poling Freeman.
Married Marion Kenneth Brown on August 13, 1954. He survives.
Also surviving are children Martha (Rex) Mapes, Lora (Abdulla) Almarzooqi, Dennis and Allen Brown; sisters Alice (John) Crum and Lillian Carty; brother Harry Lee Freeman; grandchildren Greg, Andria, Ryan, Jassem, and Jamal; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren Tucker and Teagan, and brother Thomas Freeman.

1954 graduate of Kingman High School.

She started her career at Culver Union Hospital as a Housekeeper, then became an aide before becoming a nurse. She worked for various doctors in the area as an LPN.

She loved antiques and enjoyed canning, cooking, collecting jars, and traveling with her husband throughout the Untied States. They visited the United Arab Emirates twice to visit family.

Funeral service 11am Thursday, November 5 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, Crawfordsville.
Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
The service will be live streamed, recorded and can be viewed on Bessie’s obituary page at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care.
Visitation 5-7pm Wednesday.
