Violet Andreason was born January 25, 1933, to Swedish immigrants Oscar and Astrid (Lilja) Andreason at the family house in Addison, Illinois. She lived with her family in Illinois until 1947 when the family moved to Waubay, South Dakota.
On July 27, 1954 she married Darrold Rebelske at Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Waubay. They made their home in Waubay.
She is survived by: her husband, Darrold of Bristol, one daughter, three grandsons , two great-grandsons two great-granddaughters. She is also survived by her youngest sister. She was preceded in death by three infant children, her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
