Miss Brittney Elaine Wright, age 13, of Guston, KY, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Louisville. Brittney was currently a 7th grade student at Stuart Pepper Middle School. She loved to dance and draw. She was very artistic and fancied herself as a wonderful organizer. She was always a wonderful sister and loved taking care of her younger siblings. Above all else, Brittney will always be remembered for her beautiful eyes and her radiant smile that always brought joy to everyone around her.

Brittney was preceded in death by her great grandmothers, Rose Stimeling and Elaine Wright. She is survived by her birth parents, Shawn Wright and Tabitha Scrogham; her Aunt Mom who raised her, Mary Rochelle Wright; her twin sister, Chelsea Wright; four other brothers and sisters, Shawn Wright, Haley Gillock, Zoie Rose Melton and JoAnn Teeter; her grandparents, David P. and Margaret “Peggy” Wright; and two uncles, Chris Wright and his wife, Ashley, and Jonathan Wright.

Funeral Services will be held privately for Brittney’s immediate family only due to current capacity restrictions from COVID-19. The service will be streamed online to the Hager Funeral Home Facebook page, beginning at 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2020. Burial will follow the service at St. George Cemetery.
