Donald W. White 84 of Freedom passed away at the Gosport Nursing Home Tuesday, December 12, 2006. He was born December 1, 1922 in Owen County, IN to Pierce A. and Goldie (Blair) White. He was a graduate in 1941 from Freedom High School, and a WWII Marine veteran. Mr. White had worked as a machinist for Allisons and Chrysler in Indianapolis. He is survived by a brother Robert White of Rochester, MI, two sisters Betty Franklin of Greenwood, IN and Virginia Newsom of Spencer. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers John White and William Eugene White, and two sisters Mabel Kay and Shirley Ann White. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery with full military graveside services provided by the Spencer American Legion and VFW.
