Hazel Peters, 96, of DeMotte, formerly of Hebron, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Oak Grove Christian Village. She was born December 17, 1910 in Wisconsin. Survived by special friends: Cindy (Dave) Schoon of Hebron; nephew, Sam Douthitt; nieces, Shirley Wirick, Mona Jones and Betty Peters. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; stepmother, Alma; and seven brothers and three sisters; one nephew, Ronald Basham; and Inez Basham.
Hazel enjoyed cooking, baking and loved her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. at the Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village Chapel with Pastor Larry Sakel officiating. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Arrangements under the direction of Frazier Funeral Home - Todd Chapel of DeMotte.
