Silverton, Texas--Harold Ray King, 78, died on Thursday, October 22, 2020. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 in the Silverton Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Harold was born in Plainview, Texas to Aubrey and Vera King. He grew up in the country east of Kress. He was a very talented athlete in school, receiving all-state honors in football. He actually ran track with the high school team while in jr. high.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved to ride motorcycles. He married Mary Beth McWilliams on March 1, 1970. He worked in the chemical and fertilizer business, as well as working for the county as a heavy equipment operator and his last job was working for an oil company as an oil pumper.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Dean King and Bill King and his sister and brother-in-law: Nadine and D.A. "Doc" Griffith.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Beth King of Silverton, his children: Shane King and wife Suzie of Amarillo, Derrick King and wife Tanya of Fullerton, California and Sonya Carrasco and husband Nestor of Amarillo, four grandhchildren: Tyson Hunt, Jade Moore, Zach Carrasco and Krishna Walker and three great grandchildren: Shayden Walker, Aubrey Hunt and Caiden Carrasco.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Samaritians Purse or a charity of your choice.
