Joyce Caroline Cornett born September 6, 1929 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday October 22, 2020 at the Hazard Health & rehabilitation Center in Hazard being 91-years old. Joyce was born in Viper, Kentucky the daughter of the late Robert Lee Brashear and the late Docia Combs Brashear. Other than her Parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her Husband, Orris Cornett; Sixteen Beloved Brothers & Sisters; Beloved Mother-In-Law, Mae Cornett. Joyce was a Member of the Calvary Bible Church.
Joyce Caroline Cornett leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Son, Keith Cornett & Ernestine of Hazard; Daughter, Kay Ferguson & Gary of Seymour, TN; Grandchildren, Ashley Vanover & Steven of Hazard; Great-Grandson, Gatlin Keith Vanover; Sister-In-Law, Marilyn Brashear of Hamilton, OH. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.
Funeral Services for Joyce Caroline Cornett will be conducted on Monday October 26, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Rev. Dana Feltner officiating. The Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery located at Jeff, Kentucky.
