Frances Brashear Napier
October 14, 1924 - December 15, 2014

Mrs. Frances Brashear Napier born October 14, 1924 departed this life on Monday December 15, 2014 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 90-years, 2-months, and 1-day old. Frances was born in Viper, Kentucky the daughter of the late Robert Lee Brashear and the late Docia Combs Brashear. Frances was also preceded in death by her Husband, Hadward Napier; Daughter, Christina Feltner; Five Sisters and Seven Brothers; Son-In-Law, Paul Ray Alexander; and Great Grandchild, Bailey Alexis Alexander. Frances was a life-long resident of Perry County, a Member of the Calvary Bible Church. Frances was also a Member of the Beta Sigma Pi, Viper Homemakers Club and was an avid Bridge player, and volunteered at the Hazard A.R.H. for many years.

Mrs. Frances Brashear Napier leaves the following relatives surviving: Son, Randy Napier & Donna of Hazard, KY; Two Daughters, Linda Ann Adams & Paul of Crossville, TN and Margaret Jo Alexander of Jeff, KY; Sister, Joyce Cornett of Viper, KY; 10 Grandchildren, Steve & Jeff Perkins, Paula Jackson, Donna Shepherd, Scott & Chad Alexander, Brandi Napier, Brittany Napier Wells, Crystal Joseph and Patrick Feltner; 16-Great Grandchildren, 2-Great Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Frances Brashear Napier will be conducted on Wednesday December 17, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Steve Haddix and Chris Fugate officiating. The Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery located at Jeff, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M.
