Born in Spartanburg, SC, on June 4, 1945, a daughter of the late Paul Hugh Splawn and Nettie Maude Clayton Splawn and one of nine children; wife of Donald Horton.
Attended Fairforest High School, retired from self-employment in a business with her husband, and was a member of Powell Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg.
Also survived by a daughter, Regina Patterson (Dan); son, Timothy Horton (Tina);, sister, Joan Crosby; grandchildren, Paul Horton (Jessi), Chase Horton (Candice), Kacey Horton, Justin Reynolds (Tiffany), Cody Reynolds (Emily); nine great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs with Rev. Joe White officiating.
