Elouise was born in Daisetta, Texas on December 18, 1928 to Dave and Bertie Griffin. She graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She was a teacher for more than 20 years.
Elouise is survived by three of her four children, Sandra Buczynski and her husband Tony of Escondido, California, Thomas Ruhe and his wife Marilou of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Mary Bertus and her husband Lester of Collierville, Tennessee; her five grandchildren; and her six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dave Roberts and her husbands, Robert W. Ruhe, Jr., and William Wilson.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
