RUTH ROSE
February 21, 1945 ~ October 23, 2020

Ruth Sherrin Rose was born on February 21, 1945 to Sherman and Ester Jackson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Donald Watson, Bruce Black, C.J. Rose and two step-children, Annie and Joyce.

Ruth enjoyed sewing and cooking, shelling pecans, but she especially loved baking. She also enjoyed the outdoors and spent time gardening and fishing. Ruth made sure she kept her kids straightened out and loved her grandkids beyond measure. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Jason E. Black of Soper, OK and Bruce A. Black II and companion Gwen of Soper, OK; daughters Donna Boykin and husband Haston Boykin, Jr. of Soper, OK and Sharon Ruth Fagan and husband Adam Wayne of Soper, OK;

Four step-sons, Herbert Rose, Russell Rose, JR Rose, and Jimmy Rose; brother, Donald Jackson and wife Patty of Soper, OK;

Sisters, Verita Roden and husband Lonnie of Arkansas and Novella Trantham and husband Mike of Grant, OK;

Grandchildren Sherman Boykin and wife Emily, Hannah Boykin and step grandson Skip Boykin and wife Charity along with many other family friends and loved ones.
