Bruce Douglas Rogers was born on March 22, 1958 in Bakersfield, California, to Charles, and Catherine Rogers. He was welcomed into the world by his big sister, Jackie Harlan. Bruce attended South High School, and had a passion for racing cars.

After high school he joined the United States Navy, and served as a Seaman Apprentice aboard the USS Constellation (CV-64) which gave him a great sense of pride.

His biggest joy was the birth of his son, Erich. Bruce was a man of many talents and held many titles, settling down for the last 30 years as a self employed painter. He was always ready to lend anyone a hand when needed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles, and Cathy and his sister, Jackie Harlan.

Bruce leaves behind his son Erich, Erich's mother Robin, grandchildren, his aunt Lorene Green, and many cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to thank his VA council, and friends.
