Mrs. Susan Yvette Hankins was born July 1, 1960 to the late Hubert Sandridge and the late Lillie Bell Sandridge. She departed this life October 16, 2020 at Cypress Cove Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a 1978 graduate of Sheffield High School. She went on to attend Muscle Shoals Technical College and later was employed by Fleet Bank in Long beach, New York. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Elmer Eggleston, grandmother, Laura Garrett, aunt, Mildred Maston and uncle, Philip Eggleston.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter: Kimberly (Brien) Sandridge Ricks, one grandson, DeMarquis Davis, one granddaughter, Armari Banksten all of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; two great grandchildren, Ariya Washington and Alayah Davis both of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, three sisters: Shirley (George) Shropshire of Sonyra, Tennessee, Phyllis Sandridge of Tuscumbia, Alabama and Laurie (Pastor Michael) Jackson of Tuscumbia, Alabama, one brother, James Sandridge of Scottsboro, Alabama, one adopted sister, LaTashia Sandridge of Tuscumbia, Alabama, one aunt, Shirley Hollingsworth of Sheffield, Alabama, four sisters in law, one brother in law, five nieces, two nephews, special cousin, Jimmy Hollingsworth (Bug), special friend, Tabatha Cobb, special caregiver Kristina Davis and a host of other relatives and friends.
