Brandi Jean Marquette, 10 of Port Orchard, died at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, Washington on November 11, 2006 of injuries sustained in a traffic accident. She was born in Renton, Washington on December 28, 1995 to Blake & Sally (Yandell) Marquette.


Brandi was a 5th grade student at Orchard Heights Elementary School in Port Orchard, Washington. She was a member of Girl Scout Troop 1108. Brandi played basketball and liked to draw & sing. She loved animals and had dogs, fish and a bird. She lit up the room whenever she walked in. She was our sunshine.


Surviving are her mother Sally Marquette of Port Orchard; father Blake (Heidi) Marquette of Tacoma; brother James Marquette of Port Orchard; sister Amber West of Washington; uncles Joseph (Theda) Yandell, Jr. of Kent, Washington and Ed Marquette; aunts Bonnie (Richard) Larson of Olalla, Washington and Jeannie Saterdel of Tacoma; paternal grandmother Norma Hicks of Puyallup; and cousins Jason Yandell of Kent and Laura Saterdel of Tacoma. She was preceded in death by grandparents Joseph & Barbara Yandell and grandfather James Marquette.


Memorial service will be at Port Orchard Church of The Nazarene at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 18, 2006. Inurnment will be at Fraola Cemetery in Olalla, Washington. Memorial donations can be made to Brandi at the Bank of America.
