Death of an Editor - On the 24th of November Cosam Julian Bertlett, Esq., died of consumption at San Bernardino, Cal, aged 34 years and 6 months. He was a native of Milledgeville, Georgia, but grew to manhood in Florida. He was a member of the New Orleans bar prior to removing to California, where he was connected with influential journals as editor. In 1859-'60 he was again in New Orleans for some months, during which time he was an editor of the Crescent - Marrying in that city he returned to California with his bride, and at the time of his death was editor and proprietor of the San Francisco Daily Bulletin. He was a high toned and honorable gentlemen of great ability, and of amiable and engaging deportment.
