Mr. Charles Thomas, age 60, of DeFuniak Springs passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2007 in Crestview. He was born June 7, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia to his father and mother, Lee M. and Josphine Holt Thomas.
Mr. Thomas was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and was Baptist by faith. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era, serving his country in the United States Army as an E-4 Specialist. Charles graduated from Walton High School in 1965 and then graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance.
Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by his father and one brother, Steven Thomas.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his mother, Jo Thomas; two brothers, Lee M. Thomas II and David A. Thomas and wife Rachel, all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He is also survived by one nephew, Kendall Thomas and one niece, Mary Thomas.
A time of visitation will be held at 6:00~8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 12 , 2007 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home; 230 Park Avenue DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Magnolia Cemetery with Reverend John Napoli officiating.
Floral arrangements are being accepted or you may give donations to your favorite charity. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.
