Dona Elizabeth Allen Williams

MARCH 5, 1925 – OCTOBER 11, 2020 (age 95)


On Sunday, October 11, 2020, Dona Elizabeth Allen Williams, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at age 95. Dona was born on March 5, 1925 in Richfield, UT and grew up in Monroe, UT. She moved to the Las Vegas Valley in 1954. In June of 1959 Dona earned her Diploma in Practical Nursing from the Post Graduate School of Nursing, Chicago, Illinois. She retired from Clark County School District as a food handler in 1986. During her retirement, Dona enjoyed traveling, embroidering, reading, spending time with family, and she loved watching baseball.


Dona was preceded in death by son Rodger Allen, mother Nellie Asay, and father Lawrence Asay. She was survived by her sister Ilene Julander, children Wilford (Penny) Allen, Larry (Marilyn) Allen, Patricia (Rex) White, seven grandchildren, their spouses, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
