Lenora Blume Dies at Age 82

Lenora Blume, 82, 1216 Grant Dr., Edwardsville [Madison County, Illinois], died Thursday [October 10, 1974] at 3 p.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland [Madison County, Illinois].

She was born Sept. 21, 1892, in Cowden [Shelby County, Illinois], a daughter of the late George and [Erva] Belle Nichols Cowden.

Mrs. Blume was married to Charles A. Blume Feb 2, 1910, in Danville [Vermilion County, Illinois]. Mr. Blume survives.

She is also survived by a son, J. [Joyce or Jack] Cowden Blume, Edwardsville [Madison County, Illinois], and a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Graham, Port Arthur [Jefferson County] Texas. A sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Pletcher Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Sunday [October 13, 1974].

Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Monday [October 14, 1974], with the Rev. Carl Bennett, pastor, First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
