Robert Wayne Webb, age 59 of Fitzpatrick Road passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at his home following a short illness. Robert was a self employed hairdresser, and had lived in the Fitzpatrick Road area most of his adult life. He loved gardening and working in his flower garden.
Born on February 28, 1952 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Ross Webb (1912-1968) and Elizabeth Mae Milam-Webb (1911-1992). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Walter Webb (1933-1933), Benny Ross Webb (1935-2010) of Beaver, Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Webb (1936-2008) of Beaver, and Dennis O. Webb (1949-2002) of Fitzpatrick; and by his sisters, Nina Mae Webb-Bragg (1930-2008) of Fitzpatrick, Mary Louise Webb-Bragg (1931-1992) of Daniels, Leatrice Webb (1934-1934), Nancy Etta Webb-Rhodes (1939-1973), Janie Webb (1941-1941), and Genis Webb (1941-1941) of Fitzpatrick.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers, Jimmy Webb & wife Gloria Webb of Crab Orchard, and David Webb of Raleigh; his sisters, Faye Webb-Redden of Grandview, Brenda Kay Webb-Redden (1947-2012) of Grandview, and Sharon Webb-Meadows & husband David Meadows of Crab Orchard; thirty three nieces and nephews; sixty great nieces and nephews, and nine great-great nieces and nephews.
Graveside rites and burial will be held at the Webb Cemetery at Lester, WV on Tuesday March 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Cleve Allen officiating. There will be no visitation.
