Kenneth Ray Webb, 72, of Beaver, WV died on Sunday, October 5, 2008, at the Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness. Mr. Webb was a former building construction worker for Meadows Construction Co., and was retired as a self-employed tree trimming businessman.

Born on March 26, 1936, at Tolley Town, WV, he was the son of the late Ross Webb (1912-1968) and Elizabeth Mae Milam-Webb (1911-1992). He was preceded in death by sisters, Nina Mae Webb-Bragg (1930-2008), Mary Louise Webb-Bragg (1931-1992), Leatrice Webb (1934-1934), Nancy Etta Webb-Rhodes (1939-1973), Janis Webb (1941-1941), and Genis Webb (1941-1941); and brothers, Walter Webb (1933-1933), and Dennis O. Webb (1949-2002).

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sue Bragg-Webb (B. 1941) whom he married on May 13, 1958 in MacArthur, Raleigh County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Raleigh County, WV, 1958, Page 449, Application Date: May 8, 1958); sons, William Webb of Shady Spring, Michael Webb & wife Debbie Webb of High Point, NC; daughters, Marilyn Webb-O’Neal of Beaver, and Kathy Webb-Lepley-Calloway of High Point, NC; brothers, Jimmy Webb of Crab Orchard, Benny Ross Webb (1935-2010) of Beaver, Robert Wayne Webb (1952-2011) of Fitzpatrick, and David Dean Webb of Raleigh; sisters, Faye Webb-Redden of Redden Ridge, Brenda Kay Webb-Redden (1947-2012) of Grandview and Sharon Webb-Meadows of Crab Orchard; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Beaver Church of God, Beaver (beside the Beaver Fire Department), with the Rev. Jerry Clyburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery at Maple Meadow, WV.
