A photo volunteer gave me the plot number and searched the entire section for his stone. There is no stone.
I was given a picture of his obituary from a newspaper and the whole thing says:
SHIELDS, Glenn - His home, N1803 Harvard Road, Greenacres. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Violet E. Shields, at the home; 1 sister, Mrs. Edna Lawton, Kansas City, Mo.; 1 brother, Lee L. Shields, Ft. Worth, Texas. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 1973 at the Chapel of the Valley. THORNHILL VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, S1400 PINES RD. with the Rev. J. Byron Evan, Otis Orchards Community Church, officiating. Burial services at the Pines Cemetery.
