EDITH WINDELER, of OCEAN GROVE, died at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She was a nurse at Muhlenburg Hospital, Plainfield, and Christ Hospital, Jersey City. She served in the Army during World War II as a W.A.C. nurse in the South Pacific. She graduated from Lakewood High School in 1920 and Yale School of Nursing in 1930. Born in upstate New York, she lived in Howell and moved to Frances Asbury Methodist Home, Ocean Grove, in 1983. She was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. Surviving are three brothers, Alfred Windeler, Leon Windeler and James Windeler; a sister, Caroline Keskula; and 34 nieces and nephews.
