WORTH-WINDELER OAKHURST, NJ, June 21, 1928

Announcement is made of the marriage Monday of Miss Lois Juliet Windeler of Farmingdale Route No.1 and Charles Lester Worth of Wayside, which took place at 4 in the afternoon at the M. E. church here. The ceremony [was performed by] Rev. Dr. James William Marshall of Spring Lake, assisted by the pastor of the church. Rev. J. A. Naylor.

The bride wore a frock of white Georgette over white crepe de chine and carried a bridal bouquet of white roses and carnations. She was attended by her sisters, the Misses Edith and Sylvia Windeler. Miss Edith Windeler wore pink flowered Georgette, and Miss Sylvia Windeler was attired in green flowered Georgette. They carried bouquets of sweet peas. The bride's brother, Leon Windeler, was the best man. Miss Dorothy Gravatt, of Ocean Grove, a cousin of the bridegroom, played the wedding march.

Following the ceremony, which was witnessed by relatives and a few intimate friends, Mr. and Mrs. Worth received in their new home on Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, where they [will reside] after a motor trip to northern New York State.

Mrs. Worth Is the daughter of Mrs. Juliet Rey (Stewart) Windeler of Farmingdale Route No. 1.
Mr. Worth is the son of Mrs. Viola [Van Middlesworth Worth Bowne] and the late Harry Ward Worth of Wayside.

Mrs. Charles L. Worth EDGEWATER PARK

Mrs. Lois Worth, 50, wife of Charles L. Worth, died last night at her home here. Besides her husband, she Is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lois Carbone, Lambertville; Dorothy and Sally Worth, at home; and two sons, Charles, and David Worth, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Juliet [Stewart] Windeler, Plainfield, and eleven sisters and brothers. Mrs. Worth was a former resident of Asbury Park. The Abbott and Snover funeral home, Beverly, will announce arrangements.
