She died from injuries received after falling down steps at her grandson's house. She lived at 1608/1610 Schuyler Ave in Lafayette. The property along with the house next door and additional land were given to her by her parents since she did not attend school to help her mother at home.
Her children: Appleline, Margaret, John, Phillip, Martha, and Joseph.
