Martha E. Horn, 85, of Pekin, formerly of Galesburg, died Sunday, April 29, 2001, at Pekin Hospital.
Born March 11, 1916, in Monmouth to Clarence and Rhoda Christensen Galbreath, she married Lawrence W. Horn Sr. in July 1942.
Surviving are one son, Gaylord Horn of Tampa, Fla.; and one daughter, Mrs. John (Nancy) Symmonds of Galesburg.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
She worked in the office at the former Spiegel store in Galesburg. She then was a clerk for J.C. Penney in Galesburg. She later worked for Carver Center and Green Thumb in Galesburg.
Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery in Galesburg.
