Daniel Wesley Fraley, 25, of Hermitage, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020, in St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars, PA.
Daniel was born September 4, 1995, in Sharon, a son of Michael E. and Lisa (Williamson) Fraley, Sr. He was a 2014 graduate of Hickory High School, where he was in the marching band and the national honor society. He was a great supporter of the Hornets and was the recipient of the schools “Spirit Award.”
He attended Butler County Community College at Linden Point, Hermitage and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa fraternity.
Daniel was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Sharon.
He was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and through the Make-A-Wish foundation he had the opportunity to meet the team in 2013.
Daniel also enjoyed playing video games, watching cooking shows and listening to all types of music.
Even though Daniel had physical limitations due to muscular dystrophy, he never let it stop him from achieving his goals. His smile was infectious and he will forever be known for his great sense of humor.
He is survived by his parents, of Hermitage; three sisters; three brothers; god parents, Robert and Barbara Wuagon, of Levittown, PA, and Lorri Williamson, of Hermitage; his dog, Dino; a turtle, John-Jon; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Daniel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry W. and Leona Williamson, and Orville and Ruth Fraley.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to either, Make-A-Wish Foundation, at www.gift.org; or the Muscular Dystrophy Association, at www.mda.org.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday (10/08/2020) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday (10/09/2020) in the funeral home, with Deacon William Bone, officiating.
Interment: Brookland Cemetery, Leechburg, PA.
