Pauline Lyons was born November 13, 1921 in Bulo, Oklahoma to Rilda and Thomas Coffey. She passed away April 11, 2013 at Blanchard, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years, 4 months and 28 days. Pauline grew up and attended school in the Bulo community. She began working as a caregiver for many families in the Sayre area. Pauline was married to Aaron Youngblood at Sayre, Oklahoma on November 22, 1941. After their marriage, they moved to the Delhi community where they farmed and Pauline worked at the Delhi school cafeteria. In 1961, they moved to Sayre where they remained until Aaron's death in December of 1973. Pauline continued to live in the Sayre area until April of 1975 when she was married to J.B. Lyons. Together they owned and operated Grannies Snack Shack restaurant. In the early 80's, Pauline and J.B. retired and spent the majority of their time traveling to South Fork, Colorado and Eagle Nest, New Mexico fishing. She was also a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, Aaron Youngblood, J.B. Lyons, 1 son, Aaron Youngblood, 1 daughter, Sue Rivers, 5 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her 1 son, Bill Youngblood, Wylie, TX; 1 daughter, Faye Fuchs and husband, Carl, Blanchard, OK; 1 son-in-law, Bill Rivers, Lubbock, TX; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 1 sister, Lois Whipkey, Fritch, TX, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Cemetery:

Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.

Service:

Services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2:30 pm at Lone Oak Baptist Church officiated by Kendell Hamilton.
